They say the only honest people in the world are drunks, children too young to know better, and the elderly, who are simply too old to care. And I have to say Democratic candidate Joe Biden certainly seems to be proving the latter.
When he first began his presidential campaign over a year ago, he was very much like any other Democrat, saying what he thought the crowds wanted to hear and appeasing the masses. It’s what caused him to change his opinion on the Hyde Agreement, mass criminal reform, and, of course, his newest endeavor, to defund the police. In changing all these, he proved to the left he could be what they wanted as well as what was demanded by the centralist.
However, either the stress of the road, of which he hasn’t been on in six months or his age, maybe a combination of the two, has caused his mind to slip a bit. We started seeing early signs of this at the beginning of the year, with his constant gaffes and word blunders.
But now, they are more apparent than ever. What’s worse is that they can no longer be counted as just “gaffes.” Instead, they seem to reveal the truth that hides in the man’s heart. And apparently, what’s there is a deep-seated dislike for Black America.

Sure, he did a relatively good job of covering it up before, always going back over his comments and correcting them. But as his mind slips farther and farther from reality, he’s obviously finding it harder to keep these ideas hidden.
Take one of his most recent interviews with the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists, for example. On Thursday, a segment of this was aired in which NPR’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro asked the White House hopeful of his plans for Cuba, namely how he planned on relations with the communist nation to go.
Garcia Navarro asked, “Will you engage with Cuba?” Biden answered with a double affirmation of “yes, yes,” and then went on to seemingly explain himself. But his answer not only didn’t make much sense in regards to the question but revealed that he thinks all Blacks pretty much think alike.
He said, “And by the way, what you all know, but most people don’t know, (a contradiction in and of itself), unlike African-American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”
So the Latino community is diverse. Great, and he’s right, well, to some degree, we all knew that.
But to say that the black community is not? It doesn’t get much more racist than that, to assume that everyone of a particular race or heritage is the same, having the same ideas, opinions, and thought patterns.
Now there is more to Biden’s explanation, but don’t think for a second that it is going to make his comment sound any better or somehow negate the meaning.
He added, “You go to Florida, you find a very different attitude about immigration in certain places than you do when you’re in Arizona. So it’s a very diverse community.”
Once again, he is correct. Hispanics, as human beings, often have differing viewpoints, and sometimes those differences are widely based on location. What one may believe in, another may not.
However, how in the world does he figure that all blacks, no matter where they are, are somehow of the same mind?
But no matter how ridiculous this notion may sound to you and me, it’s apparently something Biden has long thought.
Take another recent comment, where he told a radio host that any black individual was struggling to figure who he or she should vote for, “you ain’t black.”
But blacks aren’t all just of the same mind, according to Biden. They are also all poor, all not as smart as him, and all in need of Democratic charity.
Why else would he say things like “poor kids are just as smart as white kids?” Or when being asked a simple but, in his mind, ludicrous question by a black reporter, did Biden ask if that man was a cocaine “junkie?”
He even puts his former boss, Barack Obama, in the same boat. When describing the man, he said, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
A storybook, as in a fairytale, as in something that doesn’t really exist, according to Biden.
I hate to break it you, but if anyone thinks Biden actually cares about Black Americans, um, he doesn’t. The proof is in his heart.
