Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz pushed back against actor and outspoken liberal Seth Rogan after the actor called Cruz a “fascist piece of s***” in a seemingly unprovoked rant on Twitter.
The Twitter festivities seem to have kicked off with Rogan replying to one of Cruz’s statements about President Joe Biden’s executive orders concerning the Paris agreement and the pipeline, which he is stopping, despite assurance during his campaign that he wouldn’t do so.
“By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh,” said Cruz. “This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.”

Rogan replied, “F*** you fascist.”
The Texas republican replied to Rogan saying, “Charming, civil, educated response.
“@Sethrogen If you’re a rich, angry Hollywood celebrity, today’s Dems are the party for you.
“If you’re blue-collar if you’re a union member if you work in energy or manufacturing…not so much. #JobsMatter.”
“Haha get f***ed fascist,” Rogen shot back. “Go encourage a white supremacist insurrection again you f***ing clown.” The infuriated actor (who is worth an estimated $80 million) also replied to Cruz, saying “If you’re a white supremacist fascist who doesn’t find it offensive when someone calls your wife ugly, Ted Cruz is the exact motherfucker for you. Also, I’m in four unions.”
At some point in the ongoing exchange, Rogan decided to diss Cruz for enjoying the film “Fantasia” by saying “Everyone who made that film would hate you,” to which Cruz responded, “They’re all dead. So I think we’re good. And Walt Disney was a Republican.
“Even though you behave online like a Marxist with Tourette’s (screaming ‘F U! F U!’ is really, really clever), your movies are typically pretty funny.
“I’m sure you hate that I enjoy them.”
It was at this point in the conversation that Rogan seemed to feel he had Cruz, on more than one count of violation of political correctness.
“As someone who has Tourette’s in their family (and also has a very mild case himself), I once again take great pleasure in telling you to go f*** yourself,” Rogan said. “(Also VERY few cases of Tourette’s manifest in uncontrollable swearing. Most cases, like mine, manifest in twitching.) Also, you’re a fucking fascist. Shut up and go away.”
Rogan, who didn’t seem to have a lot going on, except his glee over cursing out the senator from Texas, capped his comments by saying, “All jokes aside, @tedcruz is a fascist piece of sh*t.”
To which Cruz responded, “All jokes aside, @Sethrogen is a moron,” early on Sunday morning. “It’s your party that believes in govt power: to shut your business, to oppress your faith & to censor your speech.”
“Anyone who disagrees, they try to cancel. BTW, a lot of folks in Hollywood are conservative — & muzzled by the fascist Left,” he continued.
“Your lies got people killed,” Rogen responded. “You have blood on your hands.
At some point during the exchange Failed Democratic Senate and presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke weighed in, siding of course, with the expletive-filled Rogan and against his former rival.
Below is a compilation of the comments O’Rourke attempted to interject into the conversation, without gaining much traction from those actually involved:
“Don’t let him off the hook,” O’Rourke advised. “Don’t let him make this about ‘Hollywood’ — this is about Ted Cruz aiding and abetting an insurrection that killed 5 people including a cop and very nearly ended in the murders of members of Congress and the Vice President.”
“Why does he keep this fight going with Seth Rogen even though he’s getting destroyed at every turn? Because he’s guilty of sedition. He’s hoping distraction & time diminish the urgency of accountability. Don’t let him change the channel or the subject, it is sedition every time.”
“Keep the pressure up. The Houston Chronicle, El Paso Times, and San Antonio Express-News have all called on him to resign,” O’Rourke continued (which would be like the fox calling for the guard dog to resign).
“Call your Senator 202-224-3121 (even if it’s Cruz. His team should know they work for a seditionist) [sic] & tell them you want accountability,” O’Rourke added. “Action. Without it, the precedent is set that one can commit sedition without consequence. And that guarantees there will be another attempt.”
On one point we can all agree with Francis Robert O’Rourke (shocking, I know). We, the people, really should call our senators and tell them what we think they should be doing for us.
Hollywood shouldn’t dictate policy, and for the love of this country don’t let Seth Rogan weigh into any substantial degree. Let the people who still know how to make phone calls get their elected representative on the line and let them know they’ll be out of a job if they don’t get it together.
That’s all for now, folks. Back to your regularly scheduled doom and gloom.
