It seems that Joe Biden will say that he attended whatever school sounds good based on the group of people he’s talking to at the time. Fact-checkers have confirmed that he dropped quite a big lie when he announced that he went to a historically black college or university (HBCU).
The Delaware State University is an HBCU. However, Biden didn’t attend the school like he told people he did. He gave commencement speeches there. But he was never a student.
During a speech that Biden gave in October 2019, while the primaries were still going on, at Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina, Biden talked about starting out at Delaware State. He told the crowd he didn’t want them saying anything about Delaware State and that “they’re my folks.”
Oh, Joe. Can’t you remember where you went to college? It was Carlos Holmes, the director of news service for Delaware State who confirmed that Biden was never a student there. Holmes said that Biden visited for two commencement speeches, but that’s it.

Biden gave a commencement speech at the university in 2003 and again in 2016. In 2003, he was also given an honorary doctoral degree. An honorary degree doesn’t mean that Biden attended the school – and he can’t refer to himself as Dr. Biden, either.
Now, did the liberal media come out and rebuke the former VP for his deception? Nope. They had no problem that he lied about attending an HBCU just to appeal to the younger black voters. Is it racist? Yes. But the progressives don’t care about racism. The only thing they care about is getting Trump out of the White House – and they’ll deal with senile Joe and his lies to get the job done, too.
Joe Biden seems to get confused about a lot of things these days. For the record, he went to school at the University of Delaware before getting his law degree from Syracuse University.
The University of Delaware and Delaware State University are not the same college. They appeal to very different demographics. And anyone who attends one school deems the other one as a rival. It’s not something that would easily be forgotten.
Every school has a rival school. It would be like saying that a University of Florida Gator suddenly called himself a Florida State Seminole “by accident.” It wouldn’t happen.
So, there are only a few options here. Either Biden is so desperate for the votes from the black community that he’ll lie about his alma mater. And it’s not just any lie – it’s lying to the point that you’ll say that your rival college was your alma mater.
The alternative is that Joe Biden’s lost enough mental capacities that he genuinely doesn’t remember where he went to school. He remembers that he went to school in Delaware, so he stood a 50/50 shot of guessing where it was that he went. He’s got a degree from both, so that’s good enough, right?
The Democrats seem to be fine by accepting either option from their presidential candidate. Whether he lied about attending an HBCU or he’s mentally incapacitated, they’re fine with it because it would mean that Trump wouldn’t be president. They’d get closer to their socialist ways – and they may even end up with Kamala Harris if they can pull off a bait and switch.
Americans deserve better than Joe Biden. If Joe Biden can’t even remember where he went to school, he’s clearly not mentally fit to be the President of the United States of America.
And if he did lie, we don’t want someone who is going to lie and cheat their way to get more votes. It’s not fair to the black voters who think they’re getting an authentic president and it’s not fair to the voters who are voting for Trump because he is fit to (continue) doing the job.
