According to the White House, Tina Flournoy, the chief of staff for Vice President Kamala Harris will be retiring and Lorraine Voles, top advisor in Harris’ office will replace her.

The Washington Post first reported that Voles was brought to Harris’ office last summer by Flournoy. This happened as Harris faced negative headlines due to a flurry in staffers leaving her office.

In December 2020, Harris appointed Flournoy, a veteran Democratic strategist who was also an aide to Clintons, as her chief-of-staff.

Harris released a statement praising Flournoy’s departure, calling her a valued advisor and confidant and a tremendous leader for the office.
